We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

| | | I hate the term "Web 2.0" and I hate websites that have the "Windows XP Look" with a bunch of fluff, bright colors and other such nonsense. The first thing I did when I got Windows XP was change it back to Windows Classic. Seriously, I like the dark, slightly but not overly depressing color scheme we have now. The XP and Vista 'look' give me convulsions. Classic look with custom appearance and a color tone down on my machine. Gray is an ideal color as it is neutral; any color goes with it. I agree, the cool, dark look is pleasing.

When guys draw artistic representations of penises do they mirror the size to their own? I mean, that's a pretty small dick, assuming it was drawn to scale.

It's the size of a wolf's head; you don't think that's large enough? Further, it wasn't 'drawn', but the product of a rotated 'R'. Chris...

| | | I really love the way the site currently is. I strongly admire the great skills of whoever designed it! This topic confused me, so I looked up Web 2.0 on wiki. It doesn't seem (after a skim) to say anything about fluffly cartoony graphics, or about changes from the http protocol, or anything like that. It looks more like a blanket term for things like wikis, blogs, networking sites, etc. Based on that, I'd say UER is *already* Web 2.0, and we can brag about being there "before it was cool" . For example our encyclopedia is just as editable as wikipedia, and we have some features which would fall in the "social networking" category. I could be wrong, but it seems the type of people the proposed "generic commercial site" appeals to would not be the type who explore. Maybe it was posted as a joke, and I'm just confused because everyone responded to reply seriously? Well, I trust the designers here will know what's best, I'm just adding my reply If you really want to make the site more "Web 2.0", how about giving everyone the ability to make their own blog on here? It'd essentially just be a matter of adding a bunch of new boards
