|  | | | anyone from the cleveland area? anyone notice that we lost two abandoned hospitals this year, and that we're currently in the process of losing another? just wondering if anyone had the chance to check out St. Michael's in the Slavic Village before demo crews sealed it up and started tearing it down. i had no idea it was there until just last week. now im pissed because it looks like its too late.

yes if only there was a way past that terrifying fence.
im going to give it a shot. all the ground floor windows are boarded up and most of the second floor ones are too. there is a spot that i might be able to climb and get to an open third floor window though. might be kind of tough with a tripod and camera gear though, not to mention doing all that while trying to keep out of sight of the dozens of cars that drive by every minute.

are you sure its broadview? not broadway? because the hospital i posted above is near E 55th and broadway.

yeah you're right. not an area you want to spend too much time in, but its the same story for most of the places i explore. cleveland is a rough city, and the good buildings are in the worst neighborhoods. its all part of the adventure.
