| | | I live out here, and it's too bad they just tore down the old creamery building in Meridian. On the outskirts, there are plenty of old empty farmhouses in the path of development. I pass by 3 good ones on my commute from Nampa to Boise. There are a dozen more I know of. In Nampa, there is an old nursing home that closed down 2 years ago. It's boarded up tight, but I have seen the boards pulled off a few times. I personally haven't explored it yet. You can check out the old penitentiary in East Boise. It's open to the public, so as a UE, it may not be exciting. Also you can visit the Kuna Cave. It's a long lava tube cave just south of Kuna, maybe 20 miles SW of Boise. It's placemarked on Google Earth.

| | | As far as sites in Boise, there are only a few. The most prominently known one being the old armory. My friend and I are going to check it out for the first time this weekend and I’ll add it to the database. So keep your eyes open. Also, it’s been cold as hell here for the past few weeks so bring some warm undies.

There is a house on the corner of Robinson Rd and Locust in Nampa. I've already walked it. It's OK. Not too vandalized but trash everywhere. Access is easy. Just pull in the back. Huge dairy barn on Locust between Happy Valley and Southside. The houses were demolished last week. Someone is salvaging the barn, but they will be there awhile because it's huge. Also there are some barns on some property off Overland just east of Ten Mile. The houses were torch a couple weeks ago. Also between Meridian Rd and Linder, more vacated houses on Overland. I haven't explored these yet because there are crews there salvaging some of the metal buildings.

| | | Absolutely, but I got the next 2 weekends tied up. What is that building on State and 1st? Maybe I'll cruise by on my way home if traffic isn't bad. Not too familiar with much Meridian stuff since the Creamery disappeared.
