| | | I don't know the status of this site but if anyone in and around Houston knows what it was used for I would appreciate it. Really a massive complex and would have been fun in the daytime but was short on time. The pics:

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

| | | All the shots were taken with my Canon Rebel which I cannot focus at night. I have been trying a few things with using a flashlight to illuminate the area to allow it to focus. Any suggestions?

If you're not wanting to use the flash/focus function (which is kind of a stupid idea, really) you could try the flash light and manual focus, and bracket your shots for focus (shoot, tweak the focus a little, shoot again, etc). Another thing you can do, if you have a prime lens, is to guess the distance from your subject, then use the little focal point guage to set your focus. My 35mm 3.0 prime has this function, it's in the little window just above the focusing ring in the photo. [last edit 1/6/2007 1:03 AM by swankfive - edited 1 times]
If you're not against me, don't cross this line. If yes, do. |
