Ok, so I enjoy looking at all the sites I run into on these forums, but perhaps organizing them into a large thread so people can look at them? They can be anything you find interesting about anything involving Urban Exploration/Infiltration be it sites with pictures, sites good for materials and such. Anything goes.

www.lockpicks.com
www.wraiths.org

those are just the ones that come to my mind... add to the list.

I use the web a lot, so I'll just post my UE Research section:

Google

Terraserver

Scanner frequencies

Haunted Places

Abandoned Airfields

Movie Theaters

Mapquest

Mapquest Yellow Pages

UER Location Database

National Register of Historic Places (go to your state and be sure and select "vacant")

City of Tyler Council Minutes Substitute that with your own city obviously. The "secret search word" for Tyler files is "drainage". Yours' might be "storm sewer" or "drain".

Official Superfund Provides more info on each site

Better Superfund Provides more sites and less info.

And of course, local newspaper websites. Just break out with the search function.

Ooo those train hopping sites were pretty cool. I'm still not overly sure on the whole subject, but it does look cool. Would be fun to do I think...then again I'm a little nuts

My list of UE sites that I browse through very often, to see if they contain anything new:

http://www.berliner-unterwelten.de/

http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuomasro/

http://www.lost-least.it/

And many many more, that are so obvious, that I really don't need to mention them here...

And let's just clear a bit, that those are _useful_ sites, especially the first one and the last one really gave me some new ideas.

Historic Asylums

I'm surprised this site hasn't been mentioned already. I've found places here that I haven'thad time yet to explore!

The only problem I've come across with Historic Asylums is that many of these places are still open. Infact a good majority of the places on that site are still open. However...the ones that are closed are worth it still.

One thing I've found in this thread is that no one has mentioned newspaper websites. They tend to have all kinds of information regarding things closing, being sold, torn down ect. We find a ton of places through archive searches.

I will add this about the asylum site for columbia SC that one is still active however a building isnt. I have heard that quite a few people have been in that building or that portion of the building.
