This is in Van on 41st. I have been there a month now and have seen a few things which I can neither describe nor dismiss. But that is for another day. I have heard it was originally built as a military maintenance facility. Don't know much about the history of the lot itself, but when in operation, I was told that it was the largest transit yard in North America in terms of the number of buses calling it home. So many buses in fact that it hindered proper yard operation when full. What's up in the old control tower now? Imagine what that chunk of land is worth??
