|  | | | We went up past Grundy (I think Knox Creek? Or Haysi somewhere like that) Has anyone ever explored up there? There was an old school with the door hanging wide open and a bunch of houses and building just open. Has anyone been in any of these? I was stuck in the van with the boyfriend parents or so I couldnt get to any of them. Just curious!

They have moved the entire town... they got tired of it flooding and moved it to the other side of the river. But they had already torn down most of the buildings. There is just so much up there. We didnt go the same way so I didnt get any good pictures of the mine equipment or anything. I tried to get a picture of this big waterfall coming off the side of the mountain but the sun was at a bad angle.
Half the houses we went by still had out houses. We might be going back up there this summer so I will try to get into some stuff but it depends on if we can take a separate car or not.
