|  | | | So has anyone done any exploring up at Mackinaw Island in Michigan? I noticed some caves while I was biking around the island last summer, and a fairly large what looks to be abandoned hotel/resort.

| | | | I have spent quite a bit of time on mackinac island... i spent a week at a time for three straight summers up there and had plenty of free time to explore.. My sister also had her wedding on the island last fall. Its a great place to see historic landmarks and to go and find some of the natural things on the island like the rock formation, Sugar loaf. If you have any questions about the island let me know...

Last summer, while in Italy, I saw such a place next to a beach, and I really wanted to explore it. Unfortunately, the group I was with at that moment was highly anti-exploration (and I was hitting on hot chicks instead anyways). But I've always wanted to explore something like that.
