| | Hamburg? < on 12/11/2006 1:18 PM >
| | | Hi everyone, This is my first post on this forum so forgive me if this has been asked before. I am studying in Hamburg, Germany for a while and I'm really interested in seeing some WWII relics. I imagine that there would be loads of underground bunkers around Hamburg, but there seems to be a lack of information on the web (in English at least). Does anyone know of any interesting, accessible sites? Is there anyone on this board in Hamburg? Cheers!

| | | I used to live there when i was 6 years old, so i dont remember too much, but you could possibly check out DOM, the amusement park, which is closed during the winter months. Keep us updated on what you find.

| | | @Snaark: So, you don't speak german? because i know some pages about ww2-structures in Hamburg. For example there are some abandoned rooms under the Bismarck-Monument:
There's an abandoned Railroad-Tunnel in Hamburg-Altona as well, but in Germany such places are usually locked up very tightly, so you'd have to literally break in to explore such places. http://www.lostpla...amburg-altona.html
Greetings from Germany, Zwobot
