There are a hundred threads on this. Well I'm over exaggerating. That ship used to be a restaurant and was sunk there on purpose. I think its called Jordan station. I've never been on it, but I'm sick of seeing on flickr. [last edit 12/8/2006 10:57 PM by Air - edited 1 times]

| | | It was indeed a nautical restaurant, perched just off the highway. (see http://www.korkas....19_NYState_002.jpg for an image of it off Google Images) Ir burned, as a result of vandals I believe, somewhere between five-ten years ago? Maybe twelve? Anyways, haven't been on the highway in a year or two, but I thought I heard it finally got sunk as an artificial reef, no? Wouldn't swear to it, but the last time I saw it was March 20, 2005.

| | | La Grand Hermine. And yes, likely in 2003. Since Ninj has photos of the ship fully intact before the fire. For the full members: http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=20577 Edit: Link to Ninj's story: http://www.infiltr...boats-hermine.html [last edit 12/9/2006 1:37 AM by Boffo - edited 1 times]

No problem, i wasn't being sarcastic, but people ask me all the time about this one and I'm just a little bored of it. Ninj's story of his visit actually sounded neat with the raft and all.

| | | Just to clarify things. The ship is on the other side of the city of the Garden City Skyway, and yes it is near Jordan Harbour. It used to sit beside the "Beacon Motor Inn"
