Based on your posts about Chicago explorers I'm sure they'll be lining up to join you! DSM

Probably because he is worse than a park hipster, he is a suburbanite!! http://www.chucksp...m092406/index.html http://www.chucksp...m031304/index.html Oh, and then there is a really really boring guy making a movie about Dixie. http://www.dixiesquare.com Seriously, I do find it funny that a person talking about taking boring pictures picks the most boring place to explore/photograph in the Chicago area!! You should just give up UER'ing, Chicago is a dangerous place to explore, especially with people who take boring pictures.

Well, if you base your conclusions off of the people you meet up on Belmont, no wonder you feel that way.
I was planning on going down that way soon, so I'd roll with ya if an actual group gets formed.

At LEAST a couple, maybe more... ...and yet, somehow it still stands, a monument to the town of Harvey Illinois and it's inability to get it's shit together. It will outlast us all and serve as a "location" to generations of future "urban explorers", I'm sure.

Honestly, Dixie is the best in the late winter. The snow melts and turns the place into an urban tropical forest! Some of us will be down in Harvey this weekend hitting a few locations, maybe we'll run into you. Just listen for the Wilco!!! DSM

I might not be able to hear it, I'll be too busy smoking my Parliaments and taking boring pictures to impress girls. I'll probably be there at some point over at the weekend with a couple friends. Perhaps I'll see ya.

The only part of Dixie that is gone is the Wards anchor. The rest of the mall is there. However, they did clean out the rest of the mall, so it is a shell now, more than it was before. Honestly, Chicago and the suburbs are not that dangerous. Shady, maybe, but not dangerous. As long as you are smart and aware of your surroundings you will be safe.
