|  | | | Anyone seen the asian flick marebito involving the massive underground network of tunnels under Tokyo? Well, it talked about ever city having crazy systems beneath them and I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about tunnel systems in Toronto.

The path isn't all that interesting. I used to work in one of towers and there isn't that much to them, except janitor closets and such. U'd find more excitement in the hospital tunnels.
Then again I've never been a big fan of the pedestrian tunnel system or steam tunnels ...

ya i read the wikipedia thing and didnt really get how it would work.
Also i didnt really have my hopes up with PATH, but my friend told me i connects to subway tunnels but he says a lot of things, but around bay station it seems plausible.

A general overview of Enwave's reach. If you look at South East corner of the Steam Whistle Brewery (bottom of map) you can get a good look into part the system by standing on top of some large ventilation grills.

I'm not sure how vague, mildly sarcastic answers to vague, non-specific questions are meant to 'glorify' anyone, but I suppose that's besides the point. The only specific, direct question you asked was whether anyone had seen an asian movie about tunnels (my answer is no, but I will check it out now, thank you). I'm still not sure what your actual question is. Are there tunnels underneath Toronto? Yes. Are they anything close to, say, Paris, Rome, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York, or Beijing? Probably not.
So, what type of tunnels are you looking for? And what did you want to know about them? Are you just looking for confirmation that such a network exists? Have you researched anything yourself via google or other sources, such as the articles archived on infiltration.org? While your disdain for the (partially justified) attitudes of the long-time users of uer is abundantly clear, your question is still not. You'll find that specific questions here tend to get more specific answers, and less sarcasm.
Also worth noting, mentions of rumours of tunnels may create year-long, 40+ page threads that go nowhere, so consider yourself warned (see: http://www.uer.ca/...d=19236&currpage=1).

Anyways, I have heard of a network near gerrard and church street that has a lot of magnetic activity coming from it. I don't know how reliable the source is but I think it's the same one that Asher Archive talks about. The same site that had a blurb about it talked about the entrance being off parliament. I still don't know what it was used for exactly.

Just the the cumberland entrance is pretty much right beside bay station though, they definately are very close together, whether or not the connect through tunnels, through vents or not connect at all is another question.
If you go in at the cumberland entrance on bay and then go down the first escalator i'm pretty sure some of those stores cant be more than a few dozen metres from the bay station, although come to think of it i cant recall ever really feeling the train.
But forsure the on limit area has access to both young and bay station.

The most northern point of The PATH system is just north of Dundas, where you can access the Dundas station, the Toronto Coach Terminal and the Atrium on Bay.
There are no connecting tunnels (other than subway train tunnels and likely some sewer and utility pipes) between The PATH and the underground shopping concourse at Bay/Yorkville.
Unlike Montreal's RESO system, which includes all of the city's underground commercial spaces even if they have no underground pedestrian connections, The PATH includes only the continuous space between the Toronto Coach Terminal and the Metro Convention Centre's South Building, and between Metro Hall and Yonge-Dundas Square.

The same website said that there was strange magnetic activity coming from it that cause a high number of car/mechanical accidents around that intersection because of it.
