| | First Time, Geneva < on 11/19/2006 5:41 PM >
| | | Well, yesterday was my first time out and about, I went with Forbo and my older brother. We got to Geneva about 11-o-clock, we found a hole in a fence and got in. We were heading the only big building left. We were about 100 feet away when we saw some lights and heard people talking. After about 30 minutes of investigation we came the the conclusion that it was some security guard that had some people come over to keep him company. He was camped out right in front of the building, he had a fire going and it sounded like they were speaking spanish. After getting out of the we heard him calling a dog, then some barks. That creeped us out quite a bit. We did get to go into some smaller buildings filled with tools and paint, also some school buses just hanging around. After we go back thru the hole, we stopped off at some abandoned houses on the way back to the car. All in all, it wasn't too bad of night. We got back around 1:30. Forbo and my older brother got drunk and passed out, and I got a good nights sleep. [last edit 11/19/2006 9:47 PM by Lukky - edited 1 times]

| | | Go later. Like, 1 AM. Should be clear then...We haven't run into a soul out there lately.

| | | yeah 1am sounds like a much better time to show up. Running into dogs would scare the pee right out of me. With dogs you can't run OR hide.

| | | I'm thinking another stab at this place might be in order. I really want to see this place before it's all torn to rubble. And even then, some of the rubble might be cool to check out.

| | | oh yeah, I am amazed at how fast they tore down the other buildings... I wouldn't mind seeing the place before it's completely gone.. if anyone is heading out there, and doesn't mind a lil company, I would love to tag along

| | | I went out this morning and didn't see anyone. Is there normally security? If so I guess going early on new years day was a good idea!

THINK OF THE SIDECAR!

| | | Bye bye powerplant...one of the coolest (and the last standing) buildings at Geneva. I wouldn't imagine there being any security there anymore, nothing to guard.
