When it's completed in 2009, it will process the wastewater for approximately 280000 residents (more: http://www05.turku...tamo/en/index.html). After that will a large present-day wastewater plant nearby become abandoned... Here's some photos we took: The entrance. There was only a movable fence around it. Now abandoned. click to view And then we reach the large halls, which will some day become disgusting clarification and aeration basins. But now the views are still magnificent and spacious. click to view click to view click to view click to view click to view There's two levels in the complex, but we dared to explore only the upper one. The lower seemed to be more finished (and guarded). click to view Urban explorers hiding in shadows... click to view click to view Now the great drilling machines are gone, and we found only tractors and such machines. click to view This hole will be an emergency exit. click to view And finally we left the cave via an unlocked door on other side of the hill.
