I posted a separate thread on the MCS, but the rest of the sites I visited don't warrant their own thread, so I'll just post them all here. I was walking over to Ambassador Bridge to get some pix, but the sidestreet I was on led to some vines and scrub growth. I picked my way through the scrub, ran across a sleeping man wearing a hard hat, and finally came out in a large field beneath the bridge. There's a patrol car that makes a loop around the base of the bridge, but the car is outside the fence, so even if they spot you, you can still run away without any fear of them being able to pursue. Surprisingly weak security for an international border. Along the water side of the field are a few old rail road and dock buildings. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. A few views of the interior of the Wayne County bldg (I asked at the front desk and they had a guard show me around). It was more boring than I would have thought given the exterior. 9. 10. 11. Motor City Industrial Park (Packard plant). Another site that everyone has been to.
