|  | | | I'm trying to get better. I've already noticed one of my faults, I need to expose more for my highlights- I tend to let them get blown out. And some of these I can see what's wrong with them now that I'm looking at them behind a monitor and not on my camera. I'm finding that I keep trying to take long hallway shots or shots of rooms and they never come out the way I want them to, they never seem to jump at me like they do when I'm actually in the room. Everything seems compressed and flat, and I haven't figured out why yet, I'm not using a zoom lens so it baffles me. And I also managed to shoot this entire 5 hour session in slightly grainy iso 1600 without even realizing I had set it on that a couple days prior to shoot a high school football game at night  . Regardless, any and all criticism is appreciated to help me get better. Thanks.

Just curious, what f stop are you using in the hallway shots you're talking about.?
