As a former Detroit explorer I spent many of my days in the MCS and the neighboring building that stands next to it and is connected to it via a conveyor belt that runs underneath the street. I believe it was a supply building for Detroit Schools. At any rate I live in Los Angeles now and am doing a report on nature's ability to adapt to man and thought of one peticular scene in that building. On the third or fourth floor the roof had collapsed and where the sun began to shine through trees began to grow in the decaying paper and books covering the floor. It's quite beautiful actually for anyone who hasn't seen it. Well I never got around to taking pictures and now I need some for this report. If anyone knows what I am talking about and has pictures or is willing to take some it would be greatly appreciated. I could do the report on something here in LA, but I am still holding onto that place and think it would be perfect to bring up.
