There's gotta be a good story behind that injury.

If by "gut me like a fish"
You mean "give me delicious ice cream"
Then the answer is yes

given my superior invincible status, i was drunk and chose a fight with the pavement. apparently my force field was down and the pavement won.

but if you want the extended version of the story, here goes:

I have metal studded winter bike tires. Metal studded bike tires don't grip on dry pavement very well. Also, the last time I was downtown at the bars, my bike seat and post had gotten stolen. So this time I decided I would simply do without the bike seat. The change in weight distribution while biking standing up to my front steer tire on the bike makes the bike turn more sharply. So a combination of turning more sharply, on tires that dont grip as well, with clouded vision from too much PBR causes carbo's bike to slide out from under him on a turn while his face and shoulder conveniently slam into the pavement. Hence a nice bloody nose and broken collar bone at 2am and having to walk 2 miles home and calling urgent care in the morning when i woke up.

yikes! that sounds painful.

i wasn't in milwaukee, but i didn't hear anything from anyone on here, so i'm assuming it didn't happen.

Crap... I'm from Milwaukee, I would have come. I'm newish to Milwaukee (only been here about 1.5 years)... but I've explored a few places in MKE already. I'm really itching to check something out this weekend, so if anybody has the urge, please write back. If not, I'll probably just drive around myself and see if I can find some new places.
