My bf is working that day, so that means no car.
but i can get around san diego easily, so it wont be an issue.

Oh yeah adman, I'm almost done setting up that thing possibly for Friday if you're still interested. It looks like it will be in San Diego, nothing for sure yet. I'll give you more details tomorrow.

Bah! I've made a few friends there but "meetings" aren't worth the time. Events only happen if YOU plan them. It seems that people join all sorts of meet-up groups...soap collecting meet-up, lint weaving meet-up, jelly makers meet-up and oooh...this exploring thing sounds cute!
I'm not bitter, really. :p

We had a spontaneous outing last night looking for steam tunnel entrances and scouting for locations. It kept us out until about 4am. I remember I saw the clock at about 11:30 or so and could have made it down to SD but my body said no. =/

and it was awesome.
I took the group to the abandoned old white house. (the one that had no street address)
and we went all the way around and investigated everything.
On the way back to the coffee shop, we came across ANOTHER abandoned house.
(all boarded up of course) but we got into the back yard and into a storage shed that had a bunch of cool stuff in it.
I just got back home a few min. ago, so when im done editing the pictures ill post them here.

A new Discovery. The path just off to the right was how we got to the backyard.
That piece of wood was just leaning against the fence.
 That shed was actually unlocked and open.
There was a ton of stuff in there, piled high to the ceiling.

haha wow, what is this, the east coast? I didnt expect that. I was looking up steam plants and the one in long beach is from the war era. I'm not sure if its still in operation.
