Tunnels/Drains of CoMo: Pics

I've been hitting some drains and utility tunnels under Columbia, Missouri and MU. It was pretty fun, although I split out of the utility tunnels prematurely after coming face to face with a security camera. I've gotten info about that particular camera though, so I'll be going back armed with better knowledge.
I wasn't really trying for any wonderous photography, (hell, it was a disposable camera) I just took these pics to document it, so I'm not really looking for critique, although if you want to put in two cents be my guest.

I know the photography isn't great, but I wanted to show off the locations. The drain goes on forever, forking several times, and goes right through the center of downtown, and the utility tunnels...well, suffice to say they're historic.

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

That is an interesting location I must say. Also, you don't have to do this, but its generally best to somehow mask your identity.

yeah, I've noticed folks do that. It doesn't really worry me with these particular pics, but in other locations I probably would.

Nicely done. Call Fett and I next time you rock the FB tunnels - they never get old.

Sweet drains, looks like a good time!

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

No problem man. It was a hella good little trip. I google earthed where we came out, it's quite the distance. We found a nice mini-mag down there too. Anyone we know lose one?

yeah they go quite a distance, nice work. We need to draw a map of the FB system. As for the steam tunnels did you flee after you saw the camera? I wouldn't blame you thats what Kent and I did the first time we walked into it.

I fled pretty quick, but I had to go slow at the exit, because I wanted to make sure I left everything such that they wouldn't know what entrance I used. Hey, if you want to go down during this week, I'll show you this new entrance. It's pretty James Bond.

When we split I wiped out a big metal box, about shoulder height - you've probably seen it, the one with the cover hanging off. got a nice little scar off that one. I'm out of town this weekend and busy all week - maybe next week on the new entrance?
