|  | | | I'm a novice photographer, so these aren't going to look pro. Im posting to get some advice on how I can improve my skills.
I took these a few weeks ago at the Hudson River Psychiatric Center. It was pitch black out, so the photo's were taken in VERY low light on a Fugi Film, z1.

Ya i'm planning to. I honestly don't want to go during the day though. I've heard that police scout during the day. They don't touch it at night though. I also had my crappy camera with me.
Next time i go My friend is bring his Nikon d70. I should get some better pictures then. I also won't be in a rush to get home either (it was 4:30am when i was there).
I'm without a dout going into more buildings when i go back

Can't say for that site how the cops patrol, but they aren't anymore shy about going in during daylight, or at night in general. Your light(s) give you away. I have notice it's better to go during the day for a number of reasons, and to clear out as twilight approaches. Better it be someone else that gets perished in the dark!
Pic takers go in the light, vandals go at night. Some cops know this and patrol/arrest accordingly.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.
