Wow I love the Yellow!! Very interesting. Is this an enhancement of some already existing merc-vapour lights in the plant? A filter on the camera? In PS? Whatever it is, they look great.

For number 3, the bridge shot, I would like to see a little more detail in the mids. As a silouhette, it just seems a little busy.

Oh, and, was this an active site?

Great job!!

No, its an abandoned site.

thanks for the comments, the pictures were shot in RAW, and edited slightly, not a great amount as im not particularly well versed in photoshop.

hey turk

1. This looks like it might have been over sharpened or something?

2. Average shot - ok composition

3. Nice shot - exposure looks like it was tricky. The small latitude of digital prob didn't help

4. My fav shot of the lot - loads of atmosphere - the lake looks cool. The metal on the right isn't too distracting for me.

5. I found the control thing a little too centralised

6. Nice shot - I guess the dust on the windows adds to the yellow hint.

Interesting pics and great location

well done

Yeah, I think thats the re-sizing thats done that to the picture...

3. Nice shot - exposure looks like it was tricky. The small latitude of digital prob didn't help

Dunno if HDR would help on 3 so we can see sun as it's right now, but to see that bridge a little more...

I can see where your coming from, but the point of the picture is to produce a silhouette and therefore the pic turned out correct, but I can see what your saying...cheers.

Yeah, love the pics! This place is in the UK? Which cement works is it? I've been searching for weeks for abandoned cement works over here, and haven't come across this one...

Add me to the "lucky b@st@rd" list lesscrafted! Went yesterday, and off to explore it some more today. Amazing place, pity it's used so much during the week.

I'm still thinkin bout it!
