So can you let me know, are you one of the hundreds of non-english speaking students who here on a student visa studying because you have tons of $$$$$$?
U of T (St.George Campus) always had a reputation of being very hard to be accepted to. I have over the past three years noticed the obscene amounts of foreign students who are now students here, who speak very little english. So much for high standards.
I'm tired of people hating on York, I completed both of my degrees there and while the location sucks, the only time I hear ignorant shit like this is from U of T brats. My favorite is when people from U of T scarborough and U of T Mississaugua who were rejected from York, front about how they are St.george Campus peeps.
Nobody ever gave a shit whether I completed my education at York on U of T or whatever. In the grand scheme of things your undergrad is less relevant then you think. And of course this also varies by your program.
End of rant.

I hate to go off-topic, but that is such a stupid prejudice. How the fuck does a thread go from tunnels to ESL students being "below" "our" standards. They're learning, it is what university is for. Are you going to attack everyone on UER that is ESL because they're "foreign"? Because they don't live up to your "standards"? Fuck off.
