Everything looks fairly closed off. When in operation, it was all underground, so it is basically a massive tunnel system. natxtron  Location: memphis urbanesquelation  |  |  Re: Millington Smokestacks <Reply # 1 on 9/9/2006 10:00 PM >   actually, the underground part was only drainage under the main structure. the massive tunnel that you may be thinking of is in the area where they loaded carts with raw material, towards the back of the main production facility. the area below ground level is about twenty feet deep under water and extends about thirty feet beneath the ground platform.
