| | | | new info..if anyone cares..a fire station is going into the basement of molly stark.why only the basement?who knows.but it is causing quite a stir in the community .some want molly stark torn down some think the whole building can be put to use.still searching for actual history though.

| | | | Ok, I just had a nice long conversation with my roommate about just how he managed to get into Molly Stark numerous times. The motion sensors, he says, are pretty basic. They need a lot of movement to get them to go off so something as simple as taping a piece of cardboard over them does the trick because the initial movement of sliding something in front of it isn't enough to trigger it--and once something is in front of it there is no more movement. They're probably set to accomodate the possibility of animals in the building? They're the type that turn from green to red when there's movement, and then blink red when there's enough sustained movement to set it off.
He also said the doors to the stairs are all locked, so the only way to get from floor to floor is by using the elevators (which are working). Eventually that first time they did set off a motion detector and there was an audible alarm that went off, so they took off.
The second time they went in, they covered the motion sensors again. I guess they missed one because eventually they set off one, although this time it was not audible...the light just changed from green to red and then to blinking red. So they left.
The third time they had figured out where all the motion sensors were and were able to explore the building pretty freely. The "tunnels," he said, aren't anything special...mostly pipes and stuff and aren't very extensive. And the top floor looked like someone had been living there.
Some of his friends went back the very next day without him, drunk, and ended up getting caught--police dogs and everything, so I guess it's just a matter of how careful you are.

| | | | its one of the many things that does not add up.who knows though. the tunnels could have been purely for transport.laundry and deliveries.it has been said no one would make deliveries directly through because first it was a tuberculosis hospital which was killing so many people at the time.and then it was a mental institution which also scared people.it was probably for convience and protection from the elements.the place may not even be haunted or anything.but it sure as hell creeps me out.

i live about 20 minuts away (other side of Alliance for those of you that know the area)
a few years back 2004 haloween night, a few of my friends and i did get into the building, through a window on the first floor.
when you get inside its completely amazing, theres records from patients and personal garments left behind. Now you would think once it closed many years ago all of this would be taken away and disposed of but for some odd reason it still lies there today.
i do have a few documents from various files but theyre hard to read considering their age and condition.
well i could say more but ill probably have the FBI on my case as it is....if youve got any questions myspace me

we didnt cover the motion detectors just walked really slow one at a time crossing the halls...you can pretty much go from hall to hall as long as youre carefull and pay attention to where the detectors are. their concentrated around the doors that lead to the outside. and at the base of the stairs.

| | | | omg ... yeah thats forsure molly stark.... i have a few storied from here .. this past summer my friends n i went to see what all the fuse was about .. we took a joy ride up there on the first night two of my guy frinds decided to take a look inside soo they opened up one of the windows torwards the back corner by the parking lot n didnt come out for about 10-15 mins on the other side of the building at the front .. where one of them ran out 2 the balcony screaming n jumped off to a lower part .. n finally found their way down ... i dnt know what is was that they seen but they wasnt to excited about it ... well tthe next time we had went it was even worse .. they were really afraid to go up even towards the bulinding this time we founda little tunnel to explore and no one really had the gut sto go inside all the ways but we went to that window again which is where we entered the last time ... there were files n papper work thrown everywhere ... n mind u one of my friends lives right aross the street from molly stark... they see this kind of stuff all the time... well back to my story ... well we couldnt get in this time soo the boys started throwing rocks at the windows n enventually hit a a door really hard ... then all u heard was crying babies ppl yelling and screaming coming from inside lights turned off lights turned on .. soo at that time most of us wanted to leave soo we tryed and as we were pulling out the car turned off n stolled ... we sat there for about 5 mins n finally we got outta there ... true storys! ..

| | | | well so from what ive heard .. a friends mom used to work there n as she got on the elevator there to go 2 floor 5 .. the elevator went up 1st floor second floor 3rd floor n stopped .. the ladie got out n looked as she looked down the hall she seen a women walking towars her in awhite dress .. n then the women dissappered...!!!
