| | | I go to school down in Carbondale, and I was wondering if anyone has tips or information on places to explore down there. So far, Ive gone in the steam tunnels under campus, and I know about the abandoned mental hospital in Anna.

| | | There are some really cool mines in Southern IL, limestone mines along the Mississippi and sandstone mines in hillbilly land east of Cape Girardeau. I stumbled across the biggest sandstone mine somewhat randomly, after scouting out some of the pickaxe symbols on the topo maps, which turn out to be tiny mines. Very cool region.
I want to be different. But I want to be different just like everybody else, because if I really were different, everybody would think I was crazy and weird. Iowa is Minnesota's bitch. There's an art to pooping. |

| | | Just so you all know, the high school in Ridgway is well worth it, although it is still used for storage. The nursing home in Shawneetown is alright, more curious than anything else, I didnt find the church there. And the highschool in Omaha looks freaking sweet, but its seriously boarded up, and I believe is currently occupied/being used by a local. It had an annex that was build off of it, and I could hear a faint radio from inside the annex and the power meter was spinning. The current owner is obviously not too thrilled with the idea of unexpected visitors.
