Hi everybody!

My name is Kevin and I live in the Greater Montreal area! I have been a closeted Urban Explorer for years, but now I have really started to get into it and active! I am looking for some local people to meet and maybe find some new (to me) gems to discover! I have mostly been around the Ste-Anne-De-Bellevue and Senneville areas, but have also started venturing towards the city center.
Anyone in the area, please let me know!

Hi UE, I'm mike. I'm from Barrie, Ont (north of Toronto) And I have just begun urban exploration and a little bit of parkour. Since I was young I've been going places I didn't belong with a great fascination. Climbed on top of my school, and found my way into the sewer systems before the end of elementary school. Nothing, to me, is more adventurous or exciting as touring old abandoned buildings, barns and landscapes. To me it isn't so much about this history of the sites but rather the essence old cities and establishments give off. I've been aching to explore.

I've been on this site for a few years but never did too much online. I've been exploring and climbing for years and am trying to get more active on the Internet. I am going to an event in Indianapolis so I'm pumped. But I'm from Cleveland so hello to any Cleveland explorers

Hey everybody,

Technically, this is my dad's account but I think we're both going to use it because we always explore stuff together. And he's too shy or something to post an intro so he asked me to do it.

I go by Laela online, am 18 years old and am moving to Toronto in August - I'm going to Ryerson for film and just got an apartment. I'm a writer and artist who loves exploring abandoned buildings for inspiration, to take pictures, and also because I'm very interested in the paranormal; not that all abandoned buildings are haunted.

My dad is also moving to the GTA, probably around the same time I am. He likes motorcycles, karate and British TV. He's always loved exploring abandoned buildings, because he wants to experience their history firsthand. He has some postings on Ontario Abandoned Places.

We're not so good at finding things, but we'll post as soon as we have a successful trip!

I am not new to the forum but may not have introduced myself. I'm happygirl on the forum. I'm in NE Oklahoma and would love to buddy up with someone. I haven't done much UE but hope to do more in the future. I love all kinds of exploration. I took a trip into SE Kansas this weekend and saw tons of buildings I'd love to explore. I'm hoping to make a trip back there soon to UE. I am an unemployed librarian. I have 2 dogs and a husband whose mistress is his Harley. lol Looking forward to sharing pics and possibly finding a UE buddy.

Hey all,

Long time visitor, but recent account holder. My online name is Cybat and I have been on the site reading on the interesting posts and looking at the great pics here on the site for sometime and decided to take up UE as I find urban decay and historical buildings both fascinating and inspiring. My main thing is Parkour so I think with those skills they'll work together great while UEing some places I have planned ;)

Hey, i'm a big fan of exploring urban places most people don't go, loading docks, railyards, the usual, I'm glad someone made a website about it and am looking forward to finding some new places to explore.

Hi Everyone,

Here is a link to an audio clip I recorded inside an abandoned slaughterhouse. I have found a lot of interesting sounds in the machinery. More to follow.

Hey, what up everybody.

This is mindbreak tuning in from Korea (South, mind you), and I was flabbergasted when I saw South Korean locations on the UE Database, mostly thanks to Steed. I enjoyed especially the post on the Nasan Homeplace, I used to live across the street and have been walking past it for a year.

I'm one of those highschooling Asians (I'm 16) who study abroad in Boston and am in Korea for the summer holidays. I reckon South Korea is a lot more softcore when it comes to UEing, as drugs and hard cops are non-existent.

I got hooked in UEing after photographing a beautiful abandoned restaurant which still had clocks ticking. It's funny how 'beautiful' and 'abandoned' go together when it comes to buildings.

Unfortunately, all my past photography have been in film and are all stored in Boston for the summer and won't be able to share them.

Fortunately, I discovered UER.

I hope I'll get to discover and photograph incredible locations like Steed on that Hotel and the department store, and learn a lot from the veterans.

You guys are indeed amazing.

Oh, Hi!

I'm your newest n00b. Waiting for 3 days to finally post on the forum about killed me, but here i am! I've been interested in UE forever and have been exploring most of my life since I was a kid. I live in orange county, CA now but have lived in Montreal and the san francisco bay area. I'm passionate about mid century and older architecture as well as post wwi american history. i also adore urban art - especially sculpture and graffiti art. all of these things all seem to relate to UE and so when I found out there were other people interested in these things (earlier this week while watching random documentaries on netflix), I couldn't wait to check out the forums to see what they have to offer.

I think what i like the most about this forum so far is that it's about educating people on safety, architecture, culture and history.

I've always been interested in checking out the underground in Fullerton, CA since I noticed that the sidewalks are actually ancient skylights. anyone been down there? I'd love to hear stories and see photos and certainly go check it out in person.

Anyway, I look forward to talking to/meeting some of you folks soon!

Hey all, I am new here to UER, but not to UE. I have about eight or nine decently interesting full explorations and a few miniature explorations under my belt.

I also have a website too for those who want to check it out. I have everything written in an interactive journal. www.antiparadigmproductions.com

Let me know what you think, i really appreciate feedback.

I have donated to this forum, because I really like what ya'll have going on here.

Keep up the good work.

hey everybody

I am brand new to urban exploration. My second name is stedlinn, I don't want to say my real name for security issues. I must say this is one of the nicer forums that I have come across.

I am located in west central Florida, I was looking at the weird Florida book and saw the story on the Xanadu house. And thats how it all started. I have been looking at abandoned places all over the internet and I am getting ready to do some exploring myself.

I am a student right now, but I do a lot of filmography, and I want to start doing video tours of strange or forgotten places.

I look forward to posting pictures in the future.

Hello
Been exploring a little over two years in a more serious mode. I live near to Detroit which strikes me as the ultimate place to explore. Have been a long term reader of the site, and a brand new member. Hoping to meet some people, and make some fantastic discoveries. Will toss up some pics of some older visits to area buildings when I get a moment.

Looking forward to talking to you all soon!

Hi all,

I'm new to both UER and UE, attended my first meet locally last month. I have background drawing, painting and designing, but am relatively new to SLR photography and found the subject matter to be ideal.

I moved to Toronto just over two years ago but haven't had many chances to explore the way I wanted to until recently.

Much thanks to HI-LITE, NeilT and Steed for helping make my rookie experience so far a great one

I've really enjoyed my time exploring so far and look forward to learning & experiencing more.

I'm a new member! I live in the Belleville Ontario area.. by day I'm a pastor, by night a photographer/family man. I started getting interested in UE about 5 years ago when I went to New Orleans to aid with disaster relief. I've gone there 6 times now in the last 5 years and am still fascinated by the buildings left for ruins. Locally I went I my first adventure about 2 months ago.. it was great.. got chased by dogs and guys with guns.. but made it out alive and got some great pictures. Have many more adventures planned with another local UE.

Most recently I've visited the aslyum in Picton, Ontario.. next trip will be the hospital for the criminally insane in Kingston.. very excited about that one.

I look forward to becoming a part of this forum and checking out what people are up to
