Yo, my name is FrenchToast and I'm 19 from Markham, Canada (just north of Toronto) and I've always loved exploring random places, though there isn't much to do in the suburbs. I'm hoping this summer to get out and do some interesting stuff... if you're in the area send me a message?

Peace.

Hey kids

I'm new to the site and semi-new to UE. I used to explore tunnels and an abandoned apartment building growing up in Kansas City. It was a huge old building that they turned into high-priced condos sorta recently. I'm 22, going to school to be an EMT, and I now live in a super small town in the middle of Kansas. Believe it or not, not alot to explore around here, but I've been doing what I can, and will post pics when I can. Anyone semi-close and have anything even remotely interesting, let me know!

Hey, you're not too far from me! I'm in Warwick NY for the next six months or so. If you can make it an hour north, I'll be trying to get out somewhere in the next few weekends or so.

First off, welcome to the forums!

If you'd like to introduce yourself to the forum before you begin posting, please feel free to do so in this thread. This is not required, of course, because the best way to introduce yourself is always by making some contributions to the forum. If you'd like to introduce yourself to a specific region, you may do so, but any introductions posted in other sections will be moved here.

Please reply to introductions only if you have something more to contribute, than "Welcome to the forums!"

Hi UE! My name's Maggie and I'm only 18 years young, but I've loved old buildings and landmarks for as long as I can remember. I shoot with a Canon Rebel XT at the moment; I'm not a huge fan of the camera, but it's pretty good quality. I do venture into these buildings for photography more than anything. I've already visited a few sites that aren't on here, but as soon as I get Full Member I'll add them on. I will travel anywhere from Toronto to Belleville and everywhere in between to get shots, so maybe you'll see me at a couple meets!

Anyone feel free to say hi!

Hello everyone my name is William aka DieVoid. I didn't know until recently that there was a name for this sort of thing not to mention a sub culture. It will be nice to finally meet and adventure with others.
I have been doing this since I was six years old, starting off with drains and I never want to go back to that, but my favorite places are Hospitals, Train yards and various Industrial structures.

Hi there, I'm 16 and live near Philadelphia, PA. I'm hoping to begin exploring over the summer with some friends, and with any luck we'll start sooner rather than later

The Viaduct runs through the Callowhill Loft District, which is overrun with hipsters. This is just another one of those things a hipster would probably do.

Hey guys, y'all can call me Red and I live in Flower Mound, Texas (suburb of Dallas). I am relatively new to UE but what little I have done has been a blast. I am hoping to hook up with some locals to learn the ropes and have some fun. I am also a student at UNT and I love cars.

Name's Cody (I just like John Malkovich). I'm 20 and living in Jupiter, Florida for now but will be heading up to Columbia, MO in the fall. My UE experience is pretty limited and smaller scale but I'm looking forward to getting more and more into this. Let me know if you're anywhere near by and know any cool places. Oh, and I don't know if this is the right place for this but I'll be going to Orlando next week. Any advice on cool places around U of Central Florida?

Thanks!

Hey. My name is Ash and I live in Georgia (pronounced Jawja) and while I have not been very active in ue, I'm always curious about old/abandoned buildings and check them out whenever I get the chance. I've recently been driving around looking at all of the old factories around here and plan on making a few trips to check some out. Actually going this weekend to a few places. I'm really into photography as well. I've only seen one other person near me on here, hopefully I'll find some more to meet up with. C-ya.

Hey,
I'm in the Charlotte, NC area looking to find new people to explore with. I've been exploring for a few years in Charlotte, Raleigh, Detroit and New Orleans. I've been out exploring with my sister Aurelie and AnAppleSnail. I mostly like industrial buildings, rooftops and climbing things, but I'm willing to explore other things.

What is up!?
My name is Dustin(M/25) and I live in Los Angeles, I used to live in the midwest, did some simple UE stuff without knowing it(abandoned rail stations, ghost towns) just found out there was a community and had to join! I'm not much of a photographer but I do it to log my journeys, memories, etc. I've only found a handful of places in the city but I know there are a bunch and I'm planning on finding them!

To fail in what you've yet to achieve is more the spirit of exploration than to make no attempt at all.

Hey everyone

I'm in Atlanta, GA and just getting into urban exploring. I've been doing cavern and wreck diving for a while now; should be fun putting the same skills to use on land.

Don't hesitate to hit me up!

Hi all,

Im a new member here and am located in the Houston, TX area. I am hoping to meet people here that wouldn't mind helping me to learn the ropes. I have always been interested in urban exploration and remember doing it as a kid (street sewers were the most fun). I don't mind driving,so, I'm up to meeting people pretty much anywhere around the Houston area for some exploration. I hope to have some fun pictures to show soon.

Greetings and salutations,

I've been doing this for a little while and am happy to see there are lots of people with the same urge to explore. I try to satisfy my curiosity about the unknown and the forbidden, while being able to share those experiences through photography, and continued exploration.

I've seen some professional quality images here at UER so I know the bar is set fairly high. I hope my contributions can be enjoyed.

I'll do my best to abide by the rules set for the benefit of all by the mods, and hopefully I can bring another, slightly unique perspective to UER.

Thanks,
