G'day all! My name is ath and I have been exploring with the Cave Clan here in Melbourne, Australia for approximately two years. I have heard good things about this forum and thought I'd see what the hype is about. I love exploring all types of abandonments but my favourite thing to explore is drains.

Thanks for having me!

Cheers

I'm a new member to UE!

My name is ali but to most online i am known as arilem.

I've always loved old buildings, structures, places, churches and all the history/architecture that goes with it. I am a traditional artist and a photographer (on the side). I enjoy going out and sketching the locations we go to as well as take photographs and look into the architecture of buildings and history.

I have explored many places in Saskatchewan, Canada: graveyards, ghosts towns abandoned houses, buildings, farmyards etc. I travel with my boyfriend to most of the places. I hope to share a lot of what i have done and learn more tips and things i can bring to my exploring and maybe meet others in my area. I can not wait to post more and learn what other people have done!

nice to be here!

Hello, UE-ers.

My name is Bridget, I'm from southeastern Pennsylvania. New to the forum, although I've been exploring and doing things I'm not supposed to practically all my life! I guess it really started when I began doing ghost investigations with friends and local organizations, but my real interest lies mainly in old hospitals and mental institutions. I'll explore anything put in front of me though! I'm moving to the Midwest in the fall to start on a Photojournalism degree, and I'm anxious to explore all the forbidden places the Midwest has to offer - or anywhere, for that matter!

I feel at home with all of you already, and look forward to the discussions and sharing stories through our camera lenses, so to speak.

Hello.

My name is Corey, and I have been perusing this board for about a year now. My brother and I are active explorers of old houses and factories here in ye olde Milwaukee, WI. I have read as much as I can access here, both for the simple and casual interest that one may have in random boards, as well as for knowledge. Threads run multicolored here, to use a pun lacking any humor. The JTColfax thread proved endlessly amusing, as did the "disgusting finds," thread that is now, what? 60 pages? Wonderful. Anyways, I just thought I would take a moment to introduce myself ever so slightly, before diving into the world of UER.CA at large. Cheers.

Greetings everyone!

Well, I've made a few posts already tonight, but I saw this one, and figured I should properly introduce myself.

I am a 30 year old teacher... been doing explorations for many years, usually with my best friend of 25 years. We explore urban and rural sites. Now that I am fully into digital photography with a good camera, it comes with me on all explorations.

My favorite explorations are old houses - it is interesting to see what people have left behind, and how they lived in their abandoned homes. However, I am willing to explore ANYTHING... especially if there are opportunities for good photos!

One of my best exploration days was about 5-6 years ago. My friend and I started at an old farm house that used to be north of MDS Sciex in Toronto (@ 400 and Langstaff). There used to be a stand of trees north of it, and within it was this old farm house. It was really something to find on the outskirts of Toronto. Unfortunately, it was demoed when they starting building in that area. That same day, we went to another 2 locations - one was an old office - It was an architect's office - it was in a deco-type style. We explored the whole thing. Then we went to a nearby factory that was being taken down. There was this tower there, looked kind of like a air traffic control tower. We tried to get in, but couldn't... the real pisser of the day was that we were both so excited about the day, neither of us brought cameras... DOH! Lesson learned that day.

Hey everyone! I'm new here, but have been exploring for quite a while. I got my start probably about 8 years ago. My friends and I would go on woods adventures and eventually stumbled upon an abandoned log cabin and later an expansive gravel pit. We were always ones to poke around and crawl into drains in our small town, but I never explored anything of much significance until 4 years ago when I left for college.

Only after a few months of settling in, I discovered though word of mouth, a local abandoned waste treatment plant nearby. After visiting that and a quick google search, I discovered a local UE website. Ive spent the past 4 years finding the locations talked about on that site, as well as some new ones, all which I cant wait to share with the forums.

I am currently working on a lead of an underground tunnel system and tonight I am actually checking out a newly discovered tunnel under my school. 6 more weeks to fully explore everything before I ship out for good. And damn has it been good.

Hiya! MERN is used name (nickname). I highly enjoy photography and indoor/outdoor exploration. I also love firecrackers and making small controlled explosives. I have a time consuming job but it's easy and my off time is very rewarding.

I was born and raised in East Tennessee which is a great place for abandoned mines, caves, abandoned mills/plants, rock queries, rivers-lakes-ponds etc. I have lived in Italy for over two years for work; I now live in Southern New Jersey. I've been to various European Nations as well as southwest Asian nations and Brazil and Canada. I like to travel when I get a chance to do so and take plenty of pictures along the way.

Let me know if I have missed any key information in my describing of myself.

p.s.-I also play WoW and half life mod games...

So do I! Hello everyone, my name is Thea, and I have been reading posts on this site for a little while now. I obviously enjoy UE, and have explored places like abandoned Navy bases, theme parks, etc... and am currently looking for some places a bit scarier/more exciting... I am in the MA area right now, but travel frequently to VA, and FL. I realize that no one here is quick to divulge locations and such, but if anyone has any info they are willing to share I would greatly appreciate it Thanks!

Hello UER!

Name's Will, been a pretty avid browser for a while here, but this is my first post. I'm from Providence, RI and New York City and have done all my UEing around those two cities. I grew up hanging out in an abandoned freight tunnel under Providence (I'm sure people here have checked it out before); that's how I got into UE. I'd say that if I have any UE stripes, I earned them tromping through old train tunnels in Manhattan (Amtrak tunnel, if you know it) and subway tunnels beneath Brooklyn. In fact, my particular UE fetish (this feels like a personal sex ad now) is subterranean spaces. I'm trying to make a living as a writer and I've found that urban subterranean spaces are a breeding ground for all kinds of wonderful stories. For example, anyone here know the stories of the NYC underground graffiti writer/diarist, REVS? Anyway, I'll be posting a lot more here in the coming months (just graduated from school and have a bunch of free time now). It's good to meet you fine people!

hey, my name's alex and I've been watching the UE section online for a while, and decided to join this forum to try and get more involved. I've been exploring anything that I really find around, but because most of my friends did not enjoy to do the same, I ended up not doing a whole lot. I've known about UE'ing for a few years, but I never really thought that I'd give it a good try. When I got to college though, I met a few friends that were as snoopy as me, and I really finally got interested. After looking around for a while, I found out that my hometown, Milwaukee, is pretty high ranking on UE paradise (or was at one point) and as I know many of the factories and breweries are being renovated, I am eager to do some exploring before they are gone, along with a few friends who also share the desire.

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!

Well I've already made a number of posts in other sections, but I figure I should introduce myself here anyway. I'm Ryan, I'm an emo nerd from Poughkeepsie/Hyde Park, New York, in the Hudson Valley. Been fascinated with UrbEx for about three years now, but just recently found this forum. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Well I've been poking around here and reading a lot for the last while so I should probably introduce myself, my name is Neil, and I'm from Toronto. I've always been into exploring places people usually didn't/ weren't allowed to go, and it's good to know I'm not the only one! I'm from the Parkdale area specifically in T.O. and I have plans to explore a few drains in the area. Found the forum while searching for flashlights and gear people used while exploring, and I've been lurking here ever since.

My name is Court and I'm 25 years old, located in Chattanooga, TN. I've UE'd before I knew what UE was. I'm trying to gather up the pictures from a school I UE'd when I was in high school. I'm really interested in infrastructure like elevators, water, steam, electrical distribution most of all. I would like to meet up with other UE's in my area and delve into something uninhabited. Thanks.
