| | | Hi all, First post here. I came across this site when a friend of mine sent me here to look at some pics of an abandoned building (movie theater) I used to manage. My face has been glued to the screen for the past 2 hours now looking thru the archives. I love old/abandoned places, photography, and exploring... so to me, this site is great. Although I will admit, looking at the pics of my old building brought a tear to my eye. =( I'm female/26 from MA. Hope to get to know everyone! | | | Hello everyone! Very new to this site, just happened upon it while surfing around at work. Didn't know this was a REAL hobby...always just thought I was odd. You can call me Owens, most people do. I haven't done any REAL urban exploring for a few years, but I am looking to get back into it again and this place seems like a great resource. I've lived in Los Angeles for awhile now, but the only cool places I've explored have been the UCLA Steam tunnels (which ROCKED) and a few abandoned buildings. Hope to get to know you all better... -Owens -edit- Added a pic, back when i used to smoke. [last edit 2/28/2007 10:46 PM by Owns - edited 1 times]

| | | Hi! My name is Natasha. I am not new to UE but I haven't been to many places due to the lack of knowledge and transportation. I do know a few places around here though. My Bf recommended this site to me cause he is an avid Uer and has been to many places up and down the NE. He even has a brain slide from Danvers. Anyways I want to say hello and hope you will welcome me!

| | | | hello all <Reply # 371 on 3/2/2007 4:55 PM >
| | | hi there! : ) i registered a few months ago, but was too tied up with moving from long island to south florida to pay attention to anything online. anyways, here i am! i'm naveen, 25, male, from india. i work in the music industry, live audio and lighting. i've had a chance to explore quite a bit of territory outside the US (indian temples, arabian mass burial sites, etc etc) long island, like most of us probably already know, has it's fair share of interesting locations, albeit rather crowded... it's not pleasing to find someone walking their dog right through a location with significant cultural value... good times, nevertheless... anyways, south florida is now my current haunt, and i look forward to learning from, and possibly providing input to all you UER folks : ) rest easy!

| | | LOL, great intro. Do you have documentation of the India stuff you did? That would be pretty cool. Good luck in South Florida, too bad about all the fat, ugly, pasty-white people you will have to encounter. My heart goes out to you.

heh... i'm digging deep for some photos i can share of indian temples. we had some beautiful shots of interiors, especially of shiva temples, obviously devoted to the hindu god shiva, that had sacrificial marijuana strewn all over the place. not as far as the eye can see, but i'll try to post if i can find the pics fat, ugly, pasty-white people in florida? don't forget miami, where they can afford to fix the fat, the ugly, and the pasty-white for atleast 5 to 10 hours. just enough time to get to the club and get laid : ) i think it's AEONS better than long island though, where i could'nt even WALK without a copcar slowing down next to me. it's the kind of place where you have to have a car, NOONE WALKS! forget bicycles/skates [last edit 3/2/2007 5:09 PM by mindcontrol - edited 1 times]

| | | no you were'nt. if you were, you're not far off the button lol the club scene here is just like i said, as far as the average punter is concerned. i deal with a couple hundred everyday. got my boys knocked last week, if you know what i mean. and i don't work security... anyways, i'll try to find the india pics (they were taken with film and scanned in), the digital ones from LI are in the folder behind this window though : )

| | | Hello everyone. My name is J and I am currently in the metro Atlanta area. I have been into photography for a while, but only recently thought about applying it to urban exploring. I went to my first site the other day, down in FL, and I'll post some pictures up soon. I'm hoping to meet up with some fellow explorers in the ATL at some point. But anyways, just introducing myself for now, and hope I can be an active member of this borad.
