Found this old fire truck in an abandoned indian school. It was obviously restored at some point, but it had just been sitting there for several years by the looks of it...

Looks to be a late 60's early 70's IHC, Check the fluids, drop in a battery, splash some fuel down the carb, and couple gallons in the tank, I'll bet it runs......

On my very first exploring trip when I was 13 I found a AMC gremlin in the garage of a no longer abandoned house near gilbertsville pa. The thing was completely trashed and covered in junk. My redneck friends at the time would have rolled it out of there if it had any wheels to roll on.

"It was a great mistake, my being born a man, I would have been much more successful as a sea gull or a fish. As it is, I will always be a stranger, who never feels at home, who does not really want and is not really wanted, who can never belong, who must always be a little in love with death!"

Yeah your right. You'd have to see the front headlights to be sure if it was a '57, 58', or '59.

Unfortunately, the front of this thing is long gone... just the engine compartment minus the engine.

I should have recognized that wagon, We had one as a loaner when I was growing up, it had glasspacks on it, I was bummed when we had to return it.

And a friend had a '57 Ranchero, he put a 58 Edsel clip on it at his dads bodyshop. It was pretty cool lookin'

The house I was GOING to go back and explore with my camera has recently been bought and is in the process of being renovated...another missed opportunity. This car was taken out of the two car garage...not sure what it is.
