|
No, but we could lump all discussion of typewriters found in abandonments, outside abandonments or taken to abandonments into one thread, couldn't we? Why would the cars of urbex be any different, exactly? Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

Because one doesn't normally have a typewriter in their possession and frequent use, depend on their typewriter to get places, or leave their typewriter outside. Nor have I ever seen a police/security typewriter. [last edit 4/14/2010 6:25 PM by bfinan0 - edited 1 times]

What do you think they type police reports with? Just watch an 80's cop movie.

I think they use PalmPilots. After all it is 2010, and cops are behind the technological cutting edge, but not quite that far...

You're a feisty UER newb aren't you. You remind me of a young me.

Thats funny because you look to be the same age as me. Anyway if someone wants to come in here and clean up all off-topic discussion, go for it. we could go at this for another year before getting to 115 pages that way. Cars are everywhere, frankly im surprised theres only three car-related threads in here...

The functionality / use of 'insert object here' is irrelevant; I didn't say we'd have a thread about typewriters, just that if there were three separate divergences on the same topic I'd think about merging them. Same deal if its flashlights, backpacks, dildos or any of the other things that go hand in hand with exploring. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I've seen a thread of yours were you mention taking a typewriter to an abandonment, or was that just every other piece of useless junk possible? Chris...

I believe it was urbexkeith who had the typewriter fixation. I'm honestly not sure I've ever used one, let alone taken one to an abandonment. Nor have I ever posted a useless junk list, although I have commented a few times on the excess some people bring to abandonments. Taking into account what I said in §2254 of this thread, it would be rather difficult for me to have taken the typewriter to the abandonment in the first place, even if i were a wanker for such things.
