Chicagoland, unlike a lot of other major metropolitan areas, does not have a large "UE" presence online--no major websites or "UE Groups" and so forth. And I would also add that many of the active explorers in the area are NOT on any of the forums much, if at all. So anyone trying to research Chicagoland UE through Google or whatever will not find a lot, just scraps really. Was that what you (distorted void) were talking about?
There's a lot going on here, but most of it is not organized online. Which is good, or bad, depending on how you choose to look at it.

Actually that might havea been what I was thinking, yeah, maybe. Limited as in theres not much going on, in the area. Man I was never any good at writing specifics...

actually, i really do think we are a great bunch. i've met a few of you guys and have made some really great connections. everyone is also very honest and open in their opinions and i think that for us to sit here and debate occassionally is good. because, for the most part, we take the time to listen to everyone's opinions. isn't that what a forum is all about? i think it's pretty cool.

| | | | I too am in Chicago but of the meet ups I've found out about I've been out of town and unable to attend, which is sad.
I registered for the other site awhile ago, but I use this board for finding out about and talking about Wisconsin-related events, and those are usually more accessible to me (just because I have friends there who explore and such). And having the stuff in multiple locations results in me forgetting about it completely. That is, until I come on here and someone new asks about Chicago and everyone refers them to that site. haha.
To each their own. I just like having things in one place, at one site. I suppose I should just add them both to my tool bar when neither of them are currently.
This was a pretty pointless response, sorry.
