Yup Yup, love most of the surrounding areas. Looking to making it out to Rockford for a few days also. Would be fun. Got other local towns I have been looking at also. I keep an eye on the Tracks. That still leads to a lot in some of these older towns.

| | | | I was just up in Rockford with my momma. She used to live up there and work in a few of the factories that are shut down and abandoned. I've got about 130 pics of the outsides of about 16 dead factories, and I know of more in the area. I'm going to go back up there with LordAwesome and get some comprehensive photographs and map data. There's also some really sweet active factories that are worth photographing because they have dead buildings on the property.

| | | | There are tons of nifty sites out here, just be aware that many places that look derelict here are used as storage for the city and thus alarmed directly to the cop shop. If you haven't made the trip yet , PM me when you plan on heading out here. I live in Rockford as well.
