Bratislavas old harbor warehouse

This time me, and my friend decided to visit our favorite object on the riverside. We wanted to climb down the highest tower, to enjoy that feeling, to experience that view, to touch the walls. This action would have had attract the attention of the police, so we decided to do it during the night. The conditions were perfect at 24.4. So we took equipment and got there. We entered through a broken window from riverside and climbed the roof. There we spent several minutes enjoying the view and amenity (what a pity that I do not smoke. Great time for cigarette!) After enjoying and taking several photos we ascended the tower and prepared the rope fore descend. During preparations we realized, that we have had forgotten our gloves at home. We were too far to capitulate. As soon as I have gone down to take the guard I had to stop the friend and hide myself, because the train was coming. The track lies straight next to front side and the train has to stop each time when passing. I could not imagine the face of the engine-driver gazing at that apparation straight ahead. After that little interruption everything went brilliant. We both climbed it down with few pauses cooling our burnt hands. I brought home scorches and several photos.
The second expedition was completely different. It was partly cloudy day and we documented every single detail which appeared to us important. No surprises but good photos. I did it because the surrounding places expect to be destroyed and the harbor expects some strange “reconstruction” and the whole riverside will be replaced by US 7,8 million project of some company reconstructing riverside. Almost each of metal structures is stolen so we focused on the few remaining parts and on street art.

The photoalbum is no yet complete, it will be completed before the end of June.

Next time report from an abandoned rubble mine of Zlaté piesky or from an romantic aristocratic castle from 19-th century in Rusovce your interest will decide.

Great photos!

I will be going to Bratislava next week, unfortunatly the people I'm going with are not into UE. So it's just the regular tourist attractions for me.
