| | | Abandoned airfield in Michigan. < on 6/1/2006 12:02 AM >
| | | This is an airfield that A couple friends and myself checked out this week. Bugs were horrid, but turns out it was also a missile site back in its day. The site is virtually untouched by graffiti assholes. I was waiting on a new mem card for my camera and did have it with. So all these shots are horrible, but at least you get the gist of the place. 1

| | | Raco is now a vehicle testing site. But pretty cool looking none the less. Was that a BOMARC site?

| | | I found a few large entry points that were welded shut with large metal plates. I'll post shots of em when I go back this weekend.

Thanks Duncantx, that is an awsome look into what this site used to look like, I had to look at all 58 or 68 pic's. I can hardly belive that some farmer (agricultural engineer) has kept it operational, kudo's to him.

You spotted those overhead crane tracks too? That and pics 2-6 reek of Nike. Many times there not flooded. It's common to seal the vent wells so people/animals don't get killed.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

| | | Also if a full member wants a few fun places to go, I've got a bunch in mind. Check all of my post for how I feel about these sites. Otherwise the wonderland mall is about 1/8 gone starting today, and I was the last to get inside and document it. I would love to add it to the demolished list so everyone would have a chance to see it. If I could get a full member to post my shots I would like it.
