| | | Isn't there a thing in Long Island...like...some kind of...train...viaduct...? The Long Island Trainviaduct? No. That's not right. Ehh. It's like famous or something. It was like in Monopoly. I rode it once. I bet you could even get away with not paying if you only have to go a couple towns over. I also know that one can bike 15 miles in an hour easily, and that Long Island is only said number of miles wide. Why drive 3 hours to a hospital outside of Long Island when you can bike to one in an hour!? Man...I miss being a teenager. I'm gonna start biking everywhere.

| | | When I first started exploring, my bike was my only form of transportation. I covered so many miles on my 10 speed, and that was in the mountains of PA. LI should be pretty easy. It's fairly flat. It's also easier to stash a bike than a car at a site. Start pedalling my friend!

Don't listen to TF. WalMarts are bad news. True story: Last winter HCUE decorated a location for Christmas. It was an abandoned building on a still active campus. We got the whole thing on video. Accessing the asylum with 2 duffel bags of decorations and a 6 foot tree was no problem. Buying the decorations at WalMart with video rolling? We were escorted off the property by very aggressive armed security, banned for life and almost arrested. You would have thought that we were urbexing the NSA. ...Wait... We have urbexed the NSA. WalMart was more difficult. Try something easy, like a K-Mart or a 7-11.

How is being banned for life from Wal Mart a punishment? I hate that place.

Dude I've walked for three hours along railroad tracks on the mere HUNCH that there would be something interesting along them eventually. And I happen to KNOW that you live closer to something in your area than a three hour walk. Go for a hike! The tacos always taste better after you've walked the three miles to Taco Bell than if you drive. Maybe you'll find something. Maybe you won't. Probably you will. You'll feel way more accomplished if you find it on your own rather than having somebody tell you its address and what window on what side of the building to enter through. If you want to get into this hobby, stay away from internet forums, too. They're evil and will only make you angry, in the long run. As I'm sure this very thread is doing.
