|  | | | On a recent UE endeavor, one of my friends (who isn't interested in UE, but I requested to come along, simply because I know I'm supposed to avoid solo UEing) asked me this question.. "Why do you do it?".
To many, the concept of Urban Exploration doesn't really appeal.. and with respect to them, that opinion is certainly valid.
My particular friend argued "who wants to see an old empty village, anyway?"
But in contrast to this, the concept of UE brings an adrenaline rush, and a new different view of places that have been forgotten by society.
On endeavors, I often find myself questioning why this particular location is abandoned.
In addition to this, I also find that UE really practices your problem solving abilities. You're faced with an obstacle, whether it be a door, a large window, or a fence.. you try your hardest to get around this obstacle, knowing that the reward behind the wall awaits you.
So, I'm interested in hearing your opinions as to why you explore.. it should lead to some new thoughts.

It all went pretty well, till we saw a purple floating head in one of the rooms asking is about low interest mortgages... I fed it some Oxycontin while Ed snuk up on it and smacked it with a old duffel coat that was lying around.
I remember the day clearly - the trees were a vivid purple and the water floated a few inches from the ground. You could taste the sound of the crickets reciting poetry outside the window!
We explored right up until Ed tripped, fell over and landed in the basement - he would have hurt himself pretty bad, if it wasn't for the fact he'd done a coupla' big rocks of crack. Fortunately I patched him up with some band-aids and we got an ounce of H mainlined into his neck, to kill the pain good style.
Ah, happy days!
So yes, Urbex is my Anti-Drug too!
