All of the above are extremely small and we're starting to starve here! Anybody know of some places within biking distance of the town? Unfortunately, most of them are 40k out of town, and then another 10k up a dirt trail. And all we have is bikes. On a side note, we are running under the suspicion of abandoned steam tunnels under a local elemantary school, so we're going to try and use out sewer expertise to access those. But if you are a minor you should not be going near any mines anyway. They will kill you straight up. Mines are for miners not minors! We did a Lumber mill between golden and Revelstoke and we did an abandoned house south of there on highway 31 after crossing on the ferry. In Revelstoke from what I recall there is a large railyard with shops that have been mothballed at least partially. The old bridge pillings past the industrial site up the Illeceliwaet might be cool to check out. There are lots of remnants of old homes and farms given the history of the area, not too interesting for someone looking for big factories and drains.
