|  | | | Well you would think with this being Mothers day and a Sunday no one would be working at the ports...But boy were Spooky Dan, Dan, and I wrong. First we had issue finding a way in with out being spotted (failed at that). Once we were in we thought we were home free, but that wouldn’t be the case. There was an ore ship off loading on the same pier as the VB Silos. We wondered around the basements under the Silos looking for a way up into the main black building. That never happened; the first stairs we walk up put us out near a gate...a wide open brand new shiny silver gate. Well it looks like the silos are still in use for storage. There were ropes, chains, large white tarp like bags around the room. Back down into the darkness we went looking for another way up. We walk a little but more and find a door way that has stairs leading out next to the black building. Sweet! No not sweet, there is a camera pointed right at the stairs and we are not sure if it was working or not. Back to the drawing board. We look around some more and find another pair of stairs; I head up them to find us in the same room just about 50-60 feet away from where we came up the first time. But things started looking up for us. I spotted a Spiral stair case leading up to a 2nd level. Then my bubble was busted, rusted to hell, so they were no good. Once again we retreat back into the basement. After about 2 hours in the basement looking for a safe way to get into the black building. We give up and look for a way out, and just left. I hope to go back and finished what we have started
We ended up driving by the old GM plant, we should have gone there. It was dead, and 20x bigger that the VB silos
So after all that, here are the 6 photos that came out good.
