who gave all of the abandoned property owners in courtice this web address,, tell me who? There is going to be trouble to pay.

I doubt it's that.

I think it's just that it's springtime. Perfect conditions for houses to come down.

Yeppers!!! I can't see any other reason for the buildings to come done. Conspiracy theories, someone leaking info about this site or ideas of insurance payouts make for interesting reading but that's all.

A pic of the spot where the house used to be along with mail left for the former occupants - I wonder if it's important mail? Looks kinda official. Oh well, they're all dead anyways...

Well... apparently not a very good one considering the house was abandoned and susequently torn down.

I looked up the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and found this on their About page

The Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) was created on July 1, 1998, as an arm's-length agency of the Ministry of Finance. FSCO integrates the operations of the former Ontario Insurance Commission, Pension Commission of Ontario, and Deposit Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance. FSCO comprises three key parts: the Commission; the Financial Services Tribunal (Tribunal); and the Superintendent and Staff.

As of April 1, 2005, FSCO regulated 399 insurance companies, 8,642 pension plans, 242 credit unions and caisses populaires, 680 mortgage brokers, and 1,742 co-operative corporations, as well as approximately 34,630 insurance agents, 3,780 corporate insurance agencies and 1,273 insurance adjusters. The regulated sectors represent a large, dynamic and evolving industry that plays a vital role in the provincial economy and the financial security of individuals and families.

Edit: Nevermind. Didn't read the last page... Damn.

Hehe, xxxReaper - yeah, all gone. But don't worry, it wasn't too special. Everyone waited too long, and before we knew it, it was gone-zo...

it would seem that the house eventually died by it's own curse. ;)

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

There's quite a few places in Durham that are abandoned. Theres one on the road that leads to the Whitby beach, initially there was a fire then just vandals. But it look old and interesting. There is also one just past Durham college, its on the right hand side when driving north. If my memory serves me well, there is also one up near the Oshawa dump, all i can remember though is that it too is on the right hand side.

But "house of dump" doesn't sound quite as exciting as "house of death". Only one way to find out though and that is to check them out!!

They were on your conspiracy to commit 11 murders, fedge. They got to the house before we could reveal the true secrets of the largest mass murder in Canada.

Right?.. right?..

drive well sleep carefully
