Hey, I'm new to this site and I live in Toronto. I have several places I wish to post about but wish to familiarize myself with the site first. I've been reading the posts so far, and I love it. I love the comunity aspect of UE and how many other people love to explore. I longboard and have a metropass so I try to get around this city as much as possible. Anyone else live in TO? wanna do a mish sometime? where are you? My names cardtrick and if I ever meet you you'll find out why. Anyway, I'd like to know the TO explorers on this site before I post anything of value to me and my crew, so hit me back cause I really think I have some cool spots. Remember to sploreoutdoor.

Welcome to the group. There are a lot of explorers on here from Toronto and the Toronto area. Check out the events section of the site.. there's usually at least one group outing a month that are a good time and a great way to meet others in the area.

If I go to "User Search" and type Toronto into the location, it tells me 261 people live in or near the city.

WTF indeed.

Welcome aboard! Yeah there's a rather large UE community in Toronto. Come out the meets and meet people, and of course go out exploring.

wow, internet forums are so inviting. I'm thrilled for a meet. One question though before I meet. Does it matter that I'm only fifteen?

For Roadwolf Meets yes, he insists on people being 18 and over. For the regular Toronto UE Meets no (The Toronto UE Meet is happening this Saturday May 20th)

They sometimes go for 10 hours, but people can leave during a meet.

They sometimes manage to even span more than one day.....

Amazing how many buildings are abandonded...counted 10 late time I drove around. I'd be careful about going into them, if there in sketchy parts of town (squatters, crack-heads..etc), best to be careful anyhow.

They're all slated for demolition to build a condominium tower. The demo permits are posted on all the buildings. I'm not sure what the delay is, but I wonder if it has something to do with the one hold-out still living in their house. I haven't taken the time to scout out the buildings but they look pretty solidly boarded up. The multi-unit apartment building that fronts onto Bloor as well as the apartment on the corner of Bloor & Pacific look like awesome places to get into.

Yeah that's hardly sketchy... I've seen all those houses I believe your refrring too. One entire block is borded up and abandonded. I'm not into houses at all, so I don't think I'm gonna check them out. Please post some pixs if you have them, I'm curious if there the same one's I'm thinking of.
