Thanks to TUX and minimanga, I've published my own website. It deals with a mish mash of my interests, but UE is one of them. I will start posting galleries and information soon, but have a previw here. Let me know what you think. I have some ideas in store.

Three cheers! Tux has also let me move off of Virtulave and onto his server, I'm going to give him a big hug at OPE'94 (or maybe a spare maglite if he's not into hugs )

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

Let's hope nothing major ever happens to Tux's box, otherwise half of the UE websites in the world would fall into oblivion.

I'm a little concerned here that Tux is turning into the Bill Gates of UE webhosting. Trying to get a monopoly there pal ? I've got my eye on you...

Actually, it's great that you're helping out with so many people that need hosting. I do hope everything is backed up though... if your HD died, how many sites would be gone ?

Y'know, Tux's box has always been my biggest concern.

What ? You have a website ?........

Uhhmm, yeah, it is cool. It will of course be cooler when it's done ;)
But I do like the looks of it so far (I checked it out as soon as you posted it actually).

Wait 'til you get a load of my foul odour. Now that's offensive.

I'm going to put some UE photos up, but most of them will be posted on MECCA's website - if those galleries ever get posted.

I'm looking at you, K-os.

Looking good so far Crossfire, although I'm more of dark-background kinda guy as far as websites go

And yes, Tux is The Man; we'd still be on free (and intensely shitty) Tripod hosting if it wasn't for him.

So there I was, in this creepy old hallway...

What's a backup?

Seriously... there are two hard drives in the web server. One for the OS, and the other for the home directories (and all the web stuff)

I do eventually plan to implement a backup system but for now, there's nothing standing between your website and complete oblivion other than the reliability of a Maxtor 30gb hard drive.

I suggest that everyone on my server keep full copies of thier sites. We do.

Now, back to talking about how kick-ass I am!

(Note to self: Jester knows too much)
