A foundry in Milwaukee

A great find soon to be gone is Grede Foundries, currently being torn down in Milwaukee's 5th ward. Sat. I went through it with a few friends. The foundry part is half towrn done, but two buildings still exist in tac, and great for a walk through. Offices, electrical rooms, and casting storage.

You should get in touch with the rest of the Milwaukee crew. They're good shit.

So, I know two Milwaukee explorers that introduced me to this site. The three of us went out last Saturday. I posted on the Rooster post that I was looking to add on to the Milwaukee rooster if their was one. Most of those posts were for the Twin Cities area. Any advice for a newcomer is welcome.

Who in Milwaukee? And WTF is the Rooster post?? If it's anyone we know I'm sure Jimbo would add you to the Wisconsin board. And there is nothing to explore in the Twin Cities. Those guys are a bunch of losers.

In the midwest I would have to say that the top spots are the TC area and anywhere around the big lakes. But I would have to say the TC's have the most per capita as far as active explorers go. I haven't been to Milwaukee for quite some time now. But maybe sometime that will change.

By the way, th "Rosco" named on the wall in the fourth photo was a long-time UPS driver who delivered there, as did myself.

The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things of life.

We didn't go in. My friends didn't want to do what was necessary to get in.

Those are pictures. Obviously mostly close ups of signs and such. And walking around the surrounding area. Mehh.
