That being said, what exactly is the "full member" system? Is it like a fraternity where everything about it is secret? Why would one want to become a full member? Does each person get a free toaster in the mail?

No problems about asking a question that has been answered before, but god forbid one should try and find the answer themselves first.
In regards to the deletion:
The moderators are now in the management of UER. We will no longer be tolerating argument-minded posts, which is the reason for the removal. That's generally just a problem new members have. Use the "search" option for the first month or two you're here, and then after that, you don't have to worry about repeating questions as much because you'll have seen all of the old threads.
