Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. | | | This is, of course, the best site for asking that. http://www.photo.net/ would make no sense at all.

| | | I kinda like the software that came with my 20d, prolly about the same as included with the 30d. Digital photo professional or something, I almost wanna say it does a better job than PS when editing or reading white balance info. Just get it right in the canon software and save to jpg or whatever for your ps tweaks

| | | I have have CS2 and the RAW converter plug-in installed automatically when I updated. It should use the same one as the 20D, I think? Check their site, if you do a manual install it goes in the common files folder, I think...I would need to look to sure. The site gives detailed instructions.

| | | Use the Canon software for now. Take RAW only, and save as such if you can. Nothing lost. I always save the originals in RAW.

| | | This thread got me using my raw editing software from canon again last night. The canon stuff does so much better tweaking and reading the raw files than CS2. The Digital Photo Professional also has realtime before and after side by side so its easy to see how your changes have effected the photo.

I'm serious. try RSE ( rawshooter esstentials ) or capture one or any other third-party raw-development suite. adobe camera raw has serious lackings (failing to have camera-specific profiles), but the third-party shit is top-notch.

| | | Looks like it is free with an option to upgrade but still doesn't support 30D when it does I would like to try it... Viablex1

| | | Does Capture One have support yet? If so, that's what I would use. I hate the Adobe Raw converter. It's got a lot of features but in the end it just sucks to use. Cap One is much better for my workflow. I wouldn't even consider using the Canon s/w.

I use the Canon software over CS2 to manage my RAWs. Your right, it is easy, and faster. Get the latest updates for these as Canon has upgraded most of this software. I thought it was just me having trouble with bridge.
