That's not too bad.

I carried all 3 of these today, on straps:
Mamiya RB67
Mamiya C330
Nikon F3HP

and my Olympus E-1 in a small camera bag.

Luckily, I wasn't venturing far from my car.

Rule #2- Make sure the guy that's exploring with you that isn't a photographer lugs around the 15 cameras that you aren't using

Speaking of Bresson, I still want to see 'The Passionate Eye'.

As for Cameras, I just grab my camera bag. It's stuffed full of things. I only end up using one camera/lens usually but it's still fun to have a polaroid, holga, etc. on hand.

I used to travel heavy "just in-case" I needed this and "just in-case" I needed that. Ended up spending more time sifting thru a 100lb Tamrac bag full of crap I rarely used instead of doing actual photography. Not to mention the shoulder pain. I'm even selling off some of my surplus gear/lenses/etc. Now when I leave I take two extra lenses, a polarizer, flash, and whatever other essentials I need. Sometimes having to handle too much photo gear can really ruin a shoot.
