|  | | | Last night I went out on a bit of a mission. THeres 3 places on Taunton worth a look if you're in the area.
The first is on the south side across from a plaza in whitby. Its pretty freaky, seems like they're planning on moving the whole house. ITs got giant steel girders underneath and it had been partially saw cut off its foundation. It was a little tricky to get in but not rocket science by any means. Man, the whole place reeks of cat pee, like seriously, Ive never smelled the pungent reek of cat urine so strong in my life!! All the duct work for the house is in the kitchen, and the place is TOTALY cleaned out. I can't imagine having to move that place, or why, but it seems to be the case.
The second place is across from yet another shopping center and is east of the first place. This place is TRASHED, like totally trashed. You can just walk right in but theres basically nothing left to look at. Of course there is the mandatory soiled mattress lounge complete with what i presume to be used sex rags (barf). It lokks likr the owners made at least 1 feeble attempt to board it up a LONG time ago.
The third place is a quick walk east from there, and this place is near mint. It looks like it has been lived in in recent history, and aside from some minor damage, its damn near move in condition. The basement is pretty cool too, it was all renovated (look DIY) and has a whole bunch of progressively smaller rooms. That one it really too bad, it would have been a nice house for somone. My best guess is that it was bought ot by a developer of some kind, or some kind of investor.
So anyways, that was my evening out, and If somone is in the area I would say to have a look, parking is convenient too, just park at the shopping centers across the street and walk over.

I worked near those places years ago. Yeah, development is going in. But the home nearest to Pringle creek is kinda the dividing line because its protected land just to the east. A person was living there up until last fall Im pretty sure.
