| | | There isn't a specific shelter room, just a floor of the building. In fact, I was quite surprised about where that sign was..

| | | Interesting. The oddest thing I found about the mill is that there's a machine shop that looks fully functional on the second or third floor that's decked out in sports posters and calanders from the early 90s.

| | | yeah, there is an electrical shop right behind it, too. The machine shop is a little torn up (I assume more than before?). Some of the calendars include a dot-com address for the mill and are from the later 90s.

| | | It's rooms like the machine shop and the way that they're completely frozen in time that makes UE worthwhile.

| | | Yeah those rooms like like they're the way they were the day it was closed. Anyone know why it was closed? And why would they have left so much flour in those round things (i have no idea about terms for mill stuff)? You would think they would've sold some of the stuff to another mill? The posters of sports teams was sort of weird. BTW was the tv on?

| | | I have not found a power panel for powering them. And I have looked. I have found power panels for the regular elevators, those are all "Locked out by order of the King County.... blah blah ...removal or tampering with this tag is a felony... blah blah blah." I would have thought the belts would have been locked out in the same way.. odd. I still hold out hope. Vision and I even tracked the wiring back trying to find it... perhaps they gave it some cryptic name. [last edit 5/4/2006 12:19 AM by Junix - edited 1 times]

| | | I say the next time we visit, our main focus should be to find a spot for a movie, and find the power switch to the man lift.

The beltavator not being so large and an average elevator having a motor anywhere from 15-50 hp, I would guestimate around 2-5 hp and running off of 230v 3 phase power. Nothing unenergizable with a length of an average sized extension cord to the nearest distribution panel [last edit 5/4/2006 10:55 AM by Deuterium - edited 1 times]

Does this constitute an official announcement thereby condoning public discussion?

Good at first I thought you were going to have a discussion regarding if I have balls or not cause I'd hope that wouldn't be much of a discussion. [last edit 5/5/2006 4:19 AM by megankc - edited 1 times]
