If Sam Walton was a city planner, he would have built the 'boro.

Ha ha ha! Very true. Wow. Never thought of it that way, but it fits.

If that's not very exciting, I hear Sara starts drinking pretty early in the morning.

Hey, I work third shift! It's not like I can get drunk when I'm at work. Well, I could, but... nevermind.

Nice excuses. "Oh, I work third shift!", "I can't get drunk at work!" "This breathalyser was ALREADY at .08!", "I'll show YOU the meaning of being lonely".

Oh wait. The last two are mine. Just kidding, Sara. I worked third shift for a couple of weeks, and it was always very funny when the telemarketers would start calling around 9 or 10am when I was just about...stinking drunk.

hehehehe, I used to get off work a 5am and get high or steal some beers from the cooler at work. I never slept better, I almost miss those days. But I am glad me and my stoner co-workers were not the only ones

This isn't boot camp and you are not a ninja. But you sure look like an idiot in that outfit.

lol If you say so. I mostly don't want anyone to expect that you'd freely pass out information about abandonments (or fish and pizza places ) just because I said they should talk to you. Not that you'd have reason to, but I didn't even want to imply you would.

I remember once getting overly excited about a laundromat in Knoxville - not abandoned, mind you, just very bizarre. They used an a light source that was either purposely tinted off-green, or was else reflecting off something green. It made the inside of the laundromat look like it was underwater, and all the washers and dryers reminded me of portholes, so yeah. I made a very elaborate map for a few friends to find the laundromat (it was in the middle of nowhere), and they were like, "Thanks, loser!". I've come to accept it. But yeah, I'm great for that type of information otherwise you'll have to find someone else.

So, on that note, there's a great laundromat in near the Smyrna/Lavergne line on Murfreesboro Rd. (I think laundromat culture is very interesting).

I'm late to the thread! hey! Welcome! You know what, we're doing a meetup at a prison on April 2nd.

http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=29828

If you wanna go ahead and step in to an exploration like a prison, I'm sure the invitation stands. Plus you get breakfast. haha.

Oh! Pardon my lack of introduction. I'm muskratwombat. *shakes hand* Pleased to meet you!

Lemme know if there's anything I can do to assist you along your UE ways. I live downtown nashville at the momemnt, but after school's over I'll be back in Lavergne/smyrna, which is between there and the boro. Maybe I'll head out that way?

I've had my best luck by simply driving around- mostly in the country. But, sometimes you find a gem right in the middle of town. Just keep looking and ask around, but try not to look shady.

That's really cool. I'm in Murfreesboro as well! I'm interested in UE, i've never actually done it. I've seen a few sites around town (mostly abandoned houses) that i've always wanted to go in.

That's cool, I didn't think anyone near me would be interested in things like this, then I registered here.. not only are there people from TN, there's two or three people in this thread from my city!
